- 500g ground beef
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tsp salt
- 1.5 tsp sujuk spices
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of ground cloves
- 1.5 tablespoons tomato paste (or 1 tablespoon ketchup)
If the beef is lean, add fat to cover the bottom of a frying pan. Add beef, garlic, salt and spices. Fry until cooked through. Add tomato paste and fry for another couple of minutes.
This is delicious over rice (like the Yellow Maggi Rice), with a salad on the side. It can also be a poutine topping, or it can be rolled in a tortilla with cheese, then pressed in a grill.
