Shawarma
- 1 kg beef steak
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 2 cloves garlic, grated
- 1 1/2 teaspoons shawarma spices
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1/4 teaspoon ground white pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
Mix and marinate.
- 3 onions
- 5 tomatoes
- olive oil
- sprinkle of salt
Slice onions into 2 cm wedges. Chop tomatoes into 4 cm wedges. Drizzle olive oil and sprinkle salt. Roast in 400oF oven for 15 minutes. Add beef and cook for another 10 minutes.
Parsley and Onion salad
- 2 bunches parsley
- 1 onion
- 1 tablespoon sumac
Chop parsley leaves. Thinly slice onion. Mix with sumac.
Tahini Sauce
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 garlic clove, grated
- 2 teaspoon lemon juice
Thin tahini with water. Add rest of ingredients.
